What did I say that was false meach?

Did NFL2k5 not do these things?

How much computing power do the cloud servers provide for the Drivatar exactly? How much information per player is stored on those servers?

Is it too much for the console to handle locally? I don't know the answers to these things. I just know NFL2K5 created AI profiles based on your playing tendencies that other players could play against. Facts.

Sounds alot like Drivatars to me. I'm sure given CPU power, high speed internet, and high power cloud servers the Drivatar an edge by a large margin. Never said it's not more advanced.

PS4 asked what exactly did it do in reference to NFL2K5 and I explained what it did in NFL2k5.

Edit: Just read this,http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2013/...e-use-the-cloud-to-drive-machine-learning-ai/.

These are interesting features. My main point was NFL2k5 did have AI profiles you play against. Clearly the number crunching while you're offline makes the Drivatar more advanced. This articles also says it would be possible on the local CPU it would just take a lot longer, clearly.
In 2k5 you were not playing against a player A.I. It took some very basic tendencies and imposed them on the computer A.I. In practice it didn't change the gameplay at all, which is why they didn't continue putting it in games. Drivatars continually take data about everything you are doing. Compiles that data with other drivers and evolves it over time. Its like each individual person creates their own A.I. In practice this profoundly effects gameplay and as a result the A.I. Is the most advanced and varied in any racing game.

They aren't nearly the same and yes everything in the cloud COULD be done locally. After all the cloud is just a bunch of servers. Point is the amount of resources needed to do so would serverly cripple the game elswhere, and that's if the console would even have enough power to do so.
