Dirk is stuck in limbo with them probably being playoff contenders but not title contenders and he wont ask for a trade cause that's not how he is built. So he might as well go out getting paid his last couple of years. But it will be a shame if Dirk whose game has aged so gracefully isn't playing for a Finals contender at least one more time before he retires. Him being the 3rd or 4th option for a team would be a scary sight to behold.
