i cant argue with either dirk or garnett being second best
the problem is, i think a lot of ppl have short memories and forget how good garnett was in his prime. from 1998 to about 2006, u woulda been hard pressed to find ANYOne who thought dirk was better den kg
then when dirk and em choked and lost to a 8 seed, and followed dat up by losing in the first round again to da hornets, ppl werent saying dirk was better den garnett

DIs is only a argument cause of his championship run
which was probably the best i've ever seen
but even after the finals run homeboy came back up of shape and got swept in da first round

KG has never been out of shape and in MIN KG was always bounced out in the first round except 1 year but the Dirk led Mavs had the exact same results even though the won 60 games routinely and his teammates were much better.

KG Stans like to focus on The warrior series with dirk when

A. Dirks production in that series is in line with KG's career numbers as a starter in the Playoffs

B. And act like he wasnt getting knocked out of Rd 1 almost every year in Minnesota and In 07' didnt even make the playoffs

I can't put him over Barkley or Malone even though he has a title and they don't. I just think they were straight up better players than him all around. Him and KG are very close though. He has had more playoff success than him and was the lead dog by far on his title winning team while KG was more of the anchor and a huge piece to a puzzle. But no matter what anyone says Dirk is a beast and is an all time great player and if someone put him above all three of them because of the ring then I wouldn't debate with them. But to me it will always be Duncan Barkley Malone Dirk/KG.
