I think Duncan was a better player up until about 2005-06. At his peak, I'd take Duncan over Kobe. He impacted the game more as a big man.


But as much as I like Duncan, Kobe has outlasted him. Duncan's last elite season was 2007-08. For the last 5 years, he hasn't commanded double-teams like he used to, and he hasn't been able to carry the team like he used to.

Exactly. Once again, ever since he became KOBE JOHNSON (starting against UTAH on 1/25/2013) we're 8-3 and he's averaging 18.3 pts, 8.3 assts, 7.2 rebs, 1.3 stls, and 45.4% from the field.
