So it's pretty much agreed that the top5 pf's of all time are Duncan, KG, Dirk, Chuck & Malone? (not necessarily in that order) after that it's McHale, Hayes and maybe C.Webb, Pau & Bosh? Am I missing someone?

not gonna put Bob Pettit up there
you should put Pettit up there. He stopped the Celtics run.

Exactly and Shaq might have not been a great defensive player but he was a two way player and scored and did dirty work when it came to rebounding and guarding the paint. Shaq was also never hidden on defense. Plus are those big time hits that dude took from folks hacking him. Players were allowed to hit him like no one else in the league because he was so large. I am sure that took a toll on his body as well.

Yes Dirk is a great player but being able to play this long has a lot to do with basically never having to be the defensive anchor on defense or having to be the best rebounder on the team. Not having to do dirty work added years on his career. Think how many years Kobe could have played if he didn't have to guard the best back court player all those years (even when he was older and winning rings).
100% Truth. For whatever reason you're not allowed to bring this up when it comes to Dirk...

Now that I've read more about him, I guess, my fault for not for not knowing enough of him already :manny: (pretty much only when he played, who he played for & that he was a big man) :manny:. Then I'll just remove Bosh from my top10 :manny:

That's like saying what did KG do before linking up with 2 HOF players:camby:

But to answer your question Chandler left last off season and Dirk is avg 17 n 7 while having better shooting numbers than anyone in the league not name Curry...oh and he's 37 yrs old:umad:
