How is Ward's low hit on Gronk the NFL's fault? Like others have said, the best way to take down a huge maurauding TE like Gronk is to tackle low. If a player tries to tackle Gronk high, chances are he'll miss the tackle or get trucked. This is football and aiming low is an acceptable tackle form. If Gronk wants to avoid the hit he can 1) give himself up earlier; 2) hurdle ward or 3) don't catch. Strong safeties partly exist to lay down the law and that's what the Warden does. It's not the league's nor Ward's fault Gronk is injury prone and brittle.
The league's rules force defenders to go low....They'd rather knee injuries over concussions. You don't see that?
