Regular price :mjlol:

I don’t even look at that option.

You paying 30 bucks just to still have to walk for 30 minutes or catch the tram.

Preferred parking is like $50, breh.

Might be off a little bit because I’m a decade long season pass holder but that’s what I see on the sign as they smile, wave me in, and direct me to preferred parking.

Preferred parking is $35, $50 is the multi day parking pass, next time read the whole sign. :mjlol:

Preferred parking is only 50 bucks for weekends in July. Even then regular parking is still 30 bucks.

Look at these two brehs trying to Dad flex :lolbron:

Questioning myself whether I should go see Wayne and Wutang concert in a couple months now :patrice::patrice:...

Wutang and Nas will be in Raleigh in September.

I will 100% be in the seated, shaded area, and not on the GA lawn, baking in the sun.

This article is true for 99% of live shows with decent talent. Venues know parking, and food and drink options are scarce, and people will pay a premium not to be miserable.

People complaining about food prices have to factor in the vendors’ expenses. I bet the cost just to set up there isn’t cheap if they’re paying headliners millions.

cali people are used to overpaying for food, since everything is "trendy" to eat now :mjlol:. shyt you could say that about almost anywhere though:manny:

I have been to several major festivals …

if you’re like 18-24/25 goin and getting fukked up with your friends and just going for the experience then GA is legit

if you closer to 30 and over then you either need to get vip or have a connect to get you back stage and or places that make it comfortable

If you have the funds then paying extra for convenience is worth it

I’ve only been to smaller scale festivals like the OneMusic Fest in Atlanta and will only do VIP. For a $100 more, you get private bathrooms, designated areas where you have your own bars, close to the stage, and more importantly very accessible water filling stations. Will never do GA again if I never have to

This thread just alerted me to the Wu/Nas tour. Just bought my tickets

If you've never been to a festival I can see how these photos look disappointing. Pictures don't accurately portray what actually going to a festival is like.

Being in the crowd with a thing in front of you dancing to your favorite artist and everybody rolling:banderas:
Author is complaining about the 20 minute walk back to parking and I'm thinking, "that's part of the whole experience :mindblown:"

It's really about who you go with and who you meet there. A 20 minute walk back to parking could be the best part of the weekend if you're with the right people.

I live in South Africa and have never been to Coachella but I remember waiting 2 hours to get an Uber at Joburg Day (a music festival) with my best friend and some random chicks we met and that is probably my take away from the event.

It can also be difficult to get close to the stage thanks to massive VIP sections, which are closed to regular patrons.

Perfect example is this:

Look at the section to the right with all the hands up, getting hype - that's the main crowd.

Look how mid their section (artist friends/executive section) act in comparison to Kendrick fukking Lamar making a guest appearance.

Look at how much shoulder room the private area got while I guarantee you the main crowd is shoulder to shoulder and getting live. One of those guys are even standing on the guard rail filming the main crowd instead of watching Kendrick rip.

Spoiled kids probably see concerts like that all the time because their parents are loaded. They right up on that stage too smh.

How hype these events get in the main crowd even without the Kendrick appearance.
If you ever been in a crowd this packed and everyone starts jumping you know you're going along for the ride:

That's an ivory tower level of contrast. Also a nice example of how rich kids wouldn't stand a chance if the world marched on them.
