I don't see it. Enlighten a brother post his best verses becuase he doesn't spit anything that sets him apart from the gangsta rappers from his era.

Have u heard the title track from hell on earth?
His 2nd verse is godly

And I don't believe it's his health
If u read his book and seen his interviews, he's can control that shyt

I seen where interviewers question him
He denies everything
He doesn't admit to falling off

Even when he came our with return of the Mac
I didn't feel like it was vintage p
But it def was a p that I could fukk with

He's had a couple decent tracks here and there but nothing great

U don't watch Jordan to see him score 12 on 4 for 15 shooting with 3 boards and 2 assists

Yeah it was, Prodigy was on some other shyt.

"The God P walk with a limp see, but simply
To simplify shyt, no man can go against me
TEST ME? you must be bent G don't tempt me
I had this full clip for so long it needs to empty"

"I ain't ya average cat, fukk rap
I'm tryna make cream and that's that,
Whatever it takes however it gots to go down
4 nikkas on stage or a motherfukkin' 4 pound
Speakers leaking out sound or nikkas leakin on the ground,
The god gonna get his regardless"

I always go :mindblown: when P raps that part. His flow and delivery was top notch

I actually think 99% of people get that line wrong
I believe he says
This semper fi shyt, no man can go against me

It fits better with what he said the previous lines
He was going with a theme
POW, MIA, special forces, green beret, semper fi

I remember how excited I was for Infamy since he had been killing everything through HNIC. Put the CD in and couldn't believe what I was hearing.

That album had FANTASTIC production, but P just wasn't the same. It came without warning too. He hadn't been slowly falling off or gave any indication that he was done. :mindblown:

Infamy is still a solid CD, but I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in an album.

Imo he fell off right after the Jigga beef cause he felt his manhood had been tested by Jay not coming at him for his lyrical ability but by exposing that he was a fake thug...and that picture of him that Jay showed at Summerjam was sorta the nail in the coffin.....after that i feel P brushed aside his lyrical prowness and opted for a more blatant in your face overly aggressive gangsta style to try to prove that he was real ! it hurt him in the long run cause he neva changed back although he may show a glimpse every now and then ... P is that dude tho F*ck the naysayers...

P had a little Nasir in him but was way more gritty. Not to start deviating and discussing Nas, but Nas was a more polished version of Prodigy. I still felt that in the beginning they were comparable skill wise, it's just that Nas was a little more polished. Nas seems like he took his time a little more for the verses to be crafted to perfection. I picture P just going into the lab with a bottle of E&J and a notebook and writing exactly what happened to him that day then going into the booth and spitting it raw with very little do overs.imo that's what made him so ill, it just sounded so rugged and conversational like it took very little effort to tell the story. That's where P shines as an MC for me. That's just what I hear when I listen to P even to this day. He's not my favorite MC but he's a gem that I go back to from time to time. He's one of the MCs that never really made me a fan, but I always understood that he was one of the ill nikkas amongst us.

I went back to listen to HOE like a month ago and found myself unable to listen to anything else until recently. Every verse he spit on that shyt was immaculate, goose-bump inducing, grimy, haunting, almost demonic dopeness. I think P combined with the beats makes that album the most perfect album as far as that type of music goes, namely mid 90s dark, grimy, haunting, gritty east coast murder rap. The difference between that album and anything else Mobb has ever done is inexplicable, its like the stars themselves were perfectly aligned to make exactly that type of music at that time and P harnessed it completely.:demonic: The reason that is a ridiculous explanation is because it simply cannot be explained

Its so demonic brehs

:ohhh: This is a good point. Could go your way too.

I just thought that P was saying "Bottom line is that I'm that nikka" following up after the army theme. but your way makes sense too.
