What is the problem? Be specific. What outcome do you want to achieve? What do you think her objections would be? How can you phrase it in a way that sidesteps that? Better yet how can you offer half an idea so she fills in the rest herself and modifies her behavior accordingly?

honestly, i had one girl who really struggled taking honest feedback. one day at dinner i looked her dead in the eyes and asked her why is it so difficult, she said "ITS NOT I CAN DO IT " with red tears in her eyes where i could tell her father let her down fundamentally. shyt still affects me to this day. after that i just decided, its better to adjust yourself and figure if its really worth dealing with that everytime there's an issue then to continue giving feedback and watching her get emotional.

Try an analogy before you ask the question. "How would you feel if I...". It's not a magic bullet, and you have to come with it as if you actually care and non combative, but if she's not a narcissist it should defuse her at least a little bit.
