Nah, it has nothing to do with censoring. There are still a lot of those games being released over here. Nintendo paid for a timed exclusive in the West.

I doubt that Nintendo payed for exclusivity for a Disgaea game. I read that Playstation sales were struggling but the games are selling well on Switch.
NIS isn't doing well financially. Any exclusive will just get them some money timed or not.
That's why they've been portng their games to PC. D4 just went up on game pass.
