I hate that this happened but there is no way something like this would have happened to my Dad while I’m there watching it and I’m 18 years old. Not to be on some cliche shyt but by that time my father had taught me just about every single lesson in life and one of those is the elimination of the threat of violence. If you have the upper hand or have an opportunity to gain it then by all means please use the necessary force to obtain it. The Son had a bat and was unable to subdue the suspect from cutting his father’s head off. Let alone you’re in Texas so a firearm should be close by but that’s besides the point. Man I feel for that young man and the rest of his life seeing that horrific graphic imagery of your father in his final fleeting moments.
