Tell-All From Former Yankees Clubhouse Worker Is Finally Out; Alleges Jeter & Posada Had Sexy Time

Way, way, way back in 2007, we covered a Craigslist posting by a gentleman seeking a co-writer for a tell-all about his time as a Yankees clubhouse worker, the abuse he endured, and and the many scandalous Bronx Bombers episodes he witnessed. It is now 2015, and Abused By The New York Yankees is finally out—and its claims are literally unbelievable.
Former Yankees assistant equipment manager Paul Priore was fired in 1997. He says the team let him go because he is HIV-positive; the Yankees, and New York state courts, disagree. Now the seamy tell-all Priore threatened to write has found its way to print (albeit through self-publishing), and co-author Gary Toushek is spamming the world with this bizarre video explaning why Priore’s outlandish claims are totally legit.

About those claims! Here are some things Paul Priore says he witnessed, as outlined amongst the 500-some pages of Abused By The New York Yankees and according to the book’s website and this review:
  • Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada engaged in sexual relations in the clubhouse sauna at the end of their first season with the team. Jeter and Posada then allowed Priore to perform oral sex on them in order to keep him quiet.

I worked directly with an executive at my job for close to ten years. She was a lesbian, Jewish woman who hung out in the Hamptons and Upper-East side. She was a hard worker, type A personality all the way. She was strict about how she wanted the work done but always treated me fairly.

We worked very closely together but due to our age gap, we rarely spoke about anything other than the Knicks and sometimes football.

Anyway, one time I was at a work function, and my co-worker brought up Derek Jeter, my executive interjects "He's gay, all those women you see are beards..."

I looked at her like :whoa:

"Deter Jeter...gay"

Her exact expression when she responded was :beli:, almost as if I'm a moron for not knowing....

She says "Yes, he's gay..." she named an establishment in the Upper-East side, and said the owner of said establishment would arrange the "rendezvous".

She was very nonchalant about it...and was not at all trying to convince me and the subject quickly changed.

Damn, that sells it for me. I guess there's no way any man could really be hitting home runs like that with Hollywood dimes.

I forgot to mention that this executive's social circle included other lawyers of course, but also journalist - specifically NYC columnist, writers, etc.

I don't endorse what she said, one way or another...I'm not sitting here saying my former executive was right...not at all....it was a situation that always stuck out in my mind due to the fact that she was very nonchalant about it...almost with a "How could you not know" type of attitude. This was about 5 years ago.
