Better be smaller American studios than Disney. That's homogenizing content and creativity as you know it. FOX Searchlight is now dead because of this, and they took risks bringing films like "Birth of a Nation" in major theaters.

Hollywood with no risk in originality = stagnation.

Disney killed off the reputation of Star Wars and it been around 42 years. It was on cruise control status to being among the greatest franchises in the history of fiction, but Disney managed to ruin it beyond repair. Somehow, no one talks about that part.

Nostalgia can only go so far. At least Feige put some good shyt together for Marvel and Disney let him cook because the blue print was already laid out with Paramount. People don't like to talk about that either lol.

But Star Wars is another story. Then they got the live action remakes that well gonna run dry soon. Pixar doing sequels. Eventually they might get creative again. Who knows.

Nahhh not today lol. I been trolling for too long they think I really hate Marvel or something despite my positive reviews on a lot of the MCU movies. But the bottom line is Disney ain't done shyt "original" in years.

Their "original" Star Wars trilogy started out with A New Hope tribute act. Rogue One was good despite studio interference. I didn't forget about that either. The Last Jedi was an abomination that turned many fans away. Solo was a complete bomb. They spent hundreds of millions on that including the reshoots and they'll never get that back. Even if you look at The Last Jedi yeah it still made money but it made $700M less than Force Awakens. That's an issue. The toys didn't sell nearly as well as the force awakens toys either. It's amazing how Kathleen Kennedy still has a job.
