shyt, look at this year. Disney has released 5 movies (Cap Marvel, Dumbo, Endgame, Aladdin, The Lion King). 4 of those have made or make 1 billion at the office. Disney produces a billion dollar movie for another studio. And probably has another 2 billion in the tank from Frozen and Star Wars. The film division is printing money. And we aren’t even talking about the merchandising tie ins.
On top of that, he acquired Fox. And is about to run the streaming game.
Disney was on the struggle bus all during the late 90s and 2000s until he took over. If you think I’m bullshytting, name your 5 favorite Disney films and I guarantee they’re from the Disney renaissance (Little Mermaid-Tarzan) or from something during Iger’s reign. Disney can’t pay that man enough.

I guess the point the article is trying to make is why doesn't he make 100x or 250x more than his employees.
Another way to look at it is: It's fine that he makes 15M a year but why does his employees only make 15K a year? Surely Disney can afford to pay them 25K a year minimum.
