It doesn't retroactively ruin what was already there. Besides, if the OG daredevil is sitting on disney+ now, there's no reason to tone down the new seasons.

Also falcon and winter soldier was surprisingly violent with the action. Agent carter was going ham in some of those episodes with the gunplay

and one person got beheaded with caps shield offscreen, similar to how dude got beheaded with a car door offscreen in daredevil by kingpin.

It's enough there to maintain status quo for daredevil, dude is a brawler anyway, he don't need to be that gorey to punch people in the face
