1. 24 hour news cycle is BS for sports.
2. ESPN Deportes :russ:
3. Not offering a streaming/ala carte option.
4. Employing shyt talking heads like Skip and "Sources".
5. Losing World Cup rights to FOX and EPL rights to NBC (Soccer about to become a huge draw, look at Bein Sport) :laff:
6. SC Anchors clearly NOT knowing the sport they are asked to present. (Just look at when they do Cricket or EPL highlights :mjlol:)

All of this leads to a devaluing of a product. Their ONLY two redeeming products to me are the NBA coverage and the MLB coverage...IMO ESPN still does baseball better than everyone.

MLB Network shytS on ESPN

espn is mad that the rights cost so much now, but they cost so much now because they bid against themselves for the most part over the course of several years and the overpriced fees artificially became even more overpriced due to espn trying to get rights to everything, and now the leagues think they are worth that much because espn paid it in the first place. its fukking comical. when the bubble busts, and it will burst, everything is affected. the players salaries, the skyrocketing value of sports teams etc. its all fueled by the absurdly high tv rights fees. when no one is paying for sports on cable tv anymore, it will be a very cold reality for a lot of people on that gravy train. people gonna go straight to the leagues for its content, and telling channels like espn to eat a fat dikk when espn is ala carte and needing upwards of 40/50 a month from sports fans to remain functional

Sportscenter is what made them famous. ESPN was a shyt channel. Sportscenter was the only good thing on it. Some AWA wrestling, Golf how to's. Body builder shoes, fishing. Execercise programs from like 6am to 12pm You want them to go back to that? We don't need 700 ESPN's ESPN & ESPN 2 are cool. We don't need ESPN-W or ESPN News basically the same channel. Too many talk radio shows on tv amd most of them have zero personality.

Haha Kiana's Flex Appeal i'd watch that shyt and Denise Austin over the same recycled ass topics First Take and those other jabroni shows provide.

:ohhh: i'll have to check it out...I never coped it but I'll have to try it :obama:

ESPN don't give a fukk about baseball and basketball like that they dikkride the NFL as hard as NFL network most of the time. I like football but they go into complete overkill 24/7/365 let that shyt breathe. fukking random March morning I don't need to see a 10 minute roundtable discussing the Denver Broncos 2015 season.

I like how they pretend to give a fukk about soccer, boxing, mma whenever there is some huge event then we get shyt like the Robert Flores fiasco post Mayweather/Pacquiao.

As annoying as it is, NFL talk/stories bring more interest than your average mid season story from other sports. Outside of trades, off the field/court drama, and playoffs, the other sports simply don't drive as much interest as the nfl does at almost any stage.

I've said it multiple times, but I'd give just about anything to have them handle NBA TV. They have great stuff on MLB Network day and night. THAT is how you run a sports network.

I agree, but I think MLB Central is a huge misstep. I'm not with that fake ass coffee shop, just duded hanging out talking baseball vibe. It's so contrived like NFL AM.
