Think I'd rather just keep ad free Hulu and sub to Disney+

ESPN+ doesn't really appeal to me. I only watch NFL, College football, college basketball, and NBA games and between youtube tv and plain ol youtube, I'm covered. And from what I understand, ESPN+ is mostly for baseball, soccer and mma shyt.

I got a Hulu/Spotify premium bundle I pay 10 bucks a month for.

This is basically a way for them to get people to buy ESPN+. I'm a huge sports fan and have never had the slightest desire or intention of getting that service. Bundling it with a service many people already have(Hulu) and a service that is highly anticipated (Disney+) is a smart move. When they inevitably raise their prices and or undo the bundle, they might have people that liked ESPN+ enough to keep paying for it.

It’s the best streaming platform available. You get UFC Fight Nights, Serie A and other football leagues around the world, tons of docs, nightly MLB and NHL games, and original programming for $5.
I like soccer, but pass. Don't really care about any of the live sporting events they have.

Netflix overall deal Game of Thrones Creators David Benioff & D.B. Weiss – Deadline
Emmy Award-winning Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have found their new home. Nearly three months after Deadline revealed that Benioff & Weiss were being courted by six studios for an overall global deal to write, produce and direct new series and films, we can reveal that they have signed an exclusive deal with Netflix.

Nobody was confirming numbers, but sources tell Deadline the deal is in the 9-figure range like some of the other mega-deals signed by show creators like Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy, each of whom also moved to Netflix.

They have pretty much put their eggs into the Shonda Rimes/Ryan Murphy basket. I think they'll also end up winning the Benioff and Weiss bidding war (and probably overspend in the process).
