I honestly believe not making this comeback series a Luke swag fest is where they dropped the ball. This is so easy, just have the Darkside/Empire run through everybody like the 18-0 Patriots running up the score.... only for Luke to make his comeback and shut that shyt down.... count money.
. Obi had that failed mentor to Vader thing going. I just can't compare Luke to them. I like Sith stories better than Jedi stuff. All the backstabbing, power plays, killing the master, etc. Just more deep, complex stories with depth.

The 50 mill isn't the problem. The problem is Disney's reputation with Star Wars that will cost them billions of dollars in potential revenue.

I thought it was aight, and was entertained, but Star Wars joints should be more than a passible sci-fi watch. Or, maybe we are realizing just how sensationaliezed the entire franchise is versus its actual quality. Marvel's weight in cinematic impact doesn't have the same history on its side, but it completely shyts all over the Star Wars existence.

She is more of a formidable opponent or villain than Ren. She can fight.
The biggest mistake of the new trilogy is Kylo Ren.
He couldn't stop Chewy's blaster, yet Vader could stop Han's in ESB. (Interestingly, Ren stopped Poe's blaster from out of nowhere in the beginning of the movie though.
He couldn't defeat Rey.in both movies.
He is dumber than General Hux.
He is emo.
Very weak villain.
The Resistance winning in Episode IX would be like Pusha T defeating Drake.
