I don't see why the guy doesn't have the balls to embrace what he is. There's at least something semi-respectable about scum that has the balls to admit they're scum and be ok with it. Most shytty people have to create some sort of mental escape from that sort of self-acceptance. If people hear your thoughts put into words and call you a racist then either accept it and don't be ashamed of what you are or self-reflect and realize your own ignorance and abandon that line of thinking.

I don't have to agree with a person to know that there's something at least semi-respectable about standing up and facing the heat when it's on.
This JonTron guy is the racist that doesn't want you to call him a racist and doesn't want to face or accept he's a racist but he still holds on to those beliefs. Basically when forced to face what he is he feels shame not for the actual beliefs but for the negative stigma he faces for having them.

JonTron being cut from Yooka-Laylee after spouting racist views
Yooka-Laylee developer Playtonic Games has decided to cut a voice role from the game that had been contributed by controversial YouTuber JonTron, after he made a series of comments espousing racist, anti-immigrant viewpoints.
“We recently became aware of comments made by voice artist JonTron after development on Yooka-Laylee had been completed,” Playtonic said in a statement to GamesIndustry.biz, adding that “in light of his recent personal viewpoints we have made the decision to remove JonTron’s inclusion in the game via a forthcoming content update.” The game is set for release on April 11.
Playtonic offered a role in Yooka-Laylee to JonTron, whose real name is Jonathan Jafari, in February 2015 — two and a half months before the studio even launched its Kickstarter campaign for the game — after he tweeted about his love for the Banjo-Kazooie series. (Yooka-Laylee is a spiritual successor to that 3D platforming franchise.)
