Imagine the most liberal state in the country needing Bernie sanders to push liberal policy.

They couldn't afford it.The alleged bluest of blue states have sabotaged their own Medicare-For-All and Net Neutrality bills. That was done by Democrats who have a supermajority in CA Congress. Not to mention that too many of the BS 911 calls have been coming out of CA and its liberal cities.
It seems CA, as liberal as it claims to be, still needs Bernie to keep them on the right path.
They couldn't afford it.
I'd hate to see how y'all spend money.![]()
No, this is nonsense. It's absurd to bring bills to the table that you can't afford. If they couldn't afford it, then the bill gets voted and it fails. There's no need to sabotage the bill outright. Affordability doesn't seem to be the issue. Donor wishes seem to influence that.
States don't spend money the same way actual people do. Comparing the two isn't fair or accurate.

It wasn't sabotaged. Every bill doesn't come to full house for a vote.If it was that absurd it would fail without anyone needing to sabotage anything. And again, they did this with MFA and Net Neutrality. So affordability could be used as an excuse for MFA. But it can't be used for Net Neutrality.
It wasn't sabotaged.
