That's one way to put it. I find it a little pretentious.
This is supposed to be a teaser trailer. All I see is a bunch of Woke Cops protecting a Snake from bunch of Rhinos who forgot that Blue Lives Matter.
In seriousness. Just like Inside Out, Disney didn't fast track this out. Its been a good amount of years, so it will do well with the crowd and make more than Inside Out 2. Plus as a teaser, it gives some hints but doesn't reveal the entire plot, just the characters.
Hopefully it’s good because outside of Inside Out 2, Monsters University, and Toy Story 2-3. These 3d Disney/Pixar sequels been mid. Incredibles 2, Wreck It Ralph 2, Moana 2, Frozen 2, etc. All have been either mid, really disappointing, and didn’t needed a sequel. Never liked Cars so I can’t say much about their sequels. And I need to rewatch Toy Story 4.

It looks... OK.
I know that trailers often reveal too much these days, but that trailer revealed too little, in my opinion.
Also, I don't like how so little time has passed in the movie's universe from the first film. So it's only been a week since the end of the first movie? That's lame as hell. Wait 9 years for a sequel only for the story to progress a week lol. At least make it a year or two.
