I was just thinking about this earlier. How disparaging comments made by black people about black people (especially black men, no pick-me) is normalized, rationalized in our society. When it should be denounced. How is it acceptable to call black men “conquered” or spread misinformation/disinformation and racist rhetoric? All because you’re black and like some black people (for example a pro-black women misandrist as opposed to someone like Candance Owens).

I get constructive criticism. But most of what I’ve seen is not constructive, it’s pure hate speech and has completely been normalized to be made acceptable. And in addition, how do you expect to have honest conversations if you completely demean people and disregard everything they have to say?? Me = right, you = wrong. And don’t forget the disregard for logic and reasoning.

Excuse my babble, I’m at work. But discuss!

Look at Cartier Family, Officer Tatum and others as examples

Everything is black culture is trash with no words about trump or white folks

Everything is anti black and it like they don’t look in the mirror

It’s crazy how Nick Fuentes said you black folks are no longer needed for us and these c00ns just laugh and brushed it off

Thats real self hate

Very :mjpls: comment. As another poster pointed out, it’s all about the intent behind the statements. By your logic, white supremacists who build part of their platform on discussing issues plaguing the black community like black on black crime are not disrespectful if there is truth to their statement.

This is a board where grown men have regularly used the YTer term "bw". Which is a rehash of slaver/klan language which trivialized the sexual exploitation of Black women and girls.

NEVER take MFers here seriously.
Well, it’s not just this board. It’s social media and other forums like Lipstick Alley, which I am also a member of. Also, didn’t know “bw” was a WS jargon. I see black men and black women use it as an abbreviation. I’m a black woman and use it as well. But I guess we learn something new everyday.

We can acknowledge someone having malicious intent...but is what they're saying true?

There's really a simple solution that I use in my private life. I embrace and acknowledge my negatives! Like b rabbit off 8 mile.

What that does is....people really don't use my vices against me!

Black peoples problem is: someone says we embrace criminal culture. We immediately start crying that someone is racist and anti black. Instead of living in our truth and acknowledging: yeah we do that shyt.

Ok, Mr.Respectability Politics. It’s clear you’re either missing the point of my post or being purposely obtuse. Either way, I will not engage with you further because I have nothing to gain.

Exactly.

I'm noticing a lot of Black men are beginning to respond to criticism like Black Single Mothers. Deny, Deflect and Derail regardless if the criticism is true. Never directly responding to the claims, just say "not all" or "what about another topic."

I remember when any non-positive critique of Black Women was called "Bashing and Hate." Now Black Men are the same. smh It's really embarrassing.

Are you missing the fact that I am a black woman and I stated that constructive criticism is fine, but there is a clear distinction between it and hate speech.

But you’re the same broke ass degenerate who wanted to sleep with underage girls, makes disparaging comments about black women daily, and was caught capping on the Coli about you having this, that and the other. If anything, you give black people, black men a bad rap. Get the fukk up out my thread!!!!

Seems like you went on a whole babble about a particular thing. People not just black can criticize their own culture especially when it goes against their culture's progression or humanity's progession. As much as psuedo militants would love to play in white supremacy's face about racial superiority, staying grounded in the reality of your truth like @Dzali OG said is way more important than trying to prove a point through ego or performative pride.
