this doesn't look like "taking his health seriously", he dropped a lot of weight years ago after being diagnosed with diabetes, he's now looking very frail as if something else could be going on. i hope you're right in that he chose to drop more weight, but he doesn't look healthy

You could be right.
You see guys drop at a young age — whether it’s sickness, poor health choices, or drugs — and you just hope that people do whatever they can to be as healthy as they can.
