And yet...

:russ::umad::banderas:

I gotta hand it to the elite...they do know how to manipulate the masses beneath them. :smugbiden:
I have a masters degree. So I'm saying if I was rich too it would give me a bigger incentive to not get married.

Maybe they believe they are manipulating people. I just look at the scope of marriage and find it unappealing. No manipulation. No outside influence.

Nah the elite are still getting married. It implies that they were successful in making the divided ignorant masses be suspicious of an institution they stand to gain from, while the elite continue to have strong families.
It's the elite's big :umad:
Wealthy four times more likely to marry than the poor

Marriage Is for Rich People

To be honest if we are dumb enuff to fall for the "fukk deez hoes" "dat marriage shyt fo white people" "#GMB" "my baby mama" bullshyt that divides our community, we deserve to be trolled.

Marriage in America is going out of style—unless you’re rich

Poor, dumb and divided=easy to manipulate, kill and exploit:umad:

And we fall for it every time :banderas:
Marriage rates have fallen ACROSS THE BOARD. Blacks whites asians Hispanics rich poor middle class. Some fall faster than others but the trends are still the same.

Say what you want but it's the man that does the picking. Pew research has shown women's interest in marriage has risen and men's has fallen. The sham is up

Exactly across all races but NOT across all economic levels. And there is a reason for that. Individuals are easier to control and ultimately cull than strong family units are.

As the articles stated, the elite's big fukk u and :umad:to the poorer populations they control. It's almost poetic if it wasn't so diabolical.

Cool beans. I think they are looking at both long and short term community building benefits of the institution. And normalizing broken families in communities u wish to exploit is a brilliant if not draconian strategy.

I mean it almost ensures an influx of poorer families, with greater chances of growing up in poverty, which provides a ready made minimum wage workforce, broken family units suspectible to exploitation through drugs and sexual exploitation...

They really planned this shyt out and somehow got the poor to by into the idea as well curiously enough. :leon: Not u personally of course.

HUH?

From the NY Times article YOU posted

"marriage is for the rich"

"Forty years ago, about nine of 10 American men between the ages of 30 and 50 were married, and the most highly paid men were just slightly more likely to wed than those paid least. Since then, earnings for men in the top tenth of the income distribution have risen and their marriage rates have fallen slightly, from 95 percent in 1970 to 83 percent today."

Please tell me how a 12% drop is a drop is it not? And their income has increased even with the drop. So like I said. It is lower among all races and economic levels, some more than others.

And yet the overall trend has been that the institution is reserved mostly for...the...

Say it with me....rich.

Why do you think that is? Or do u think it's just coincidence? And I want you to think critically about it.
Games are being played. How's it goin down? And why? Why is wealth and prosperity associate with marriage and strong family structures?
:comeon: Or maybe u believe there is no connection.

That there is no elite plan to discourage marriage and strong communities amongst the poorer masses, even tho doing so might result in a more conscious populous that jepordizes their profits and way of life.

And maybe the sun ain't hot.:hubie:

I said marriage rates were down across the board. All races and economic levels. You said they were not. I proved using your own article that it is false and that they are.

All that extra shyt you started rating about :hubie: not arguing it.

are there any stats on who the rich are marrying? because if its amongst themselves than you have your answer. birds of a feather flock together. they clearly dont want outsiders in on their wealth. and i dont know why you keep posting those statistics, no one on here is wealthy.

Now people can hump till their crotches bruise and even have multiple kids and no one cares. Well the coli no-single-mothers brigade cares some.

I was making a larger point that went plum over ur head. Small decrease overall great. But all the articles make the same point that you seem afraid to address which is marriage is becoming increasing an institution of the wealthy.
Do you agree? Why? Everything else u posted was deflection from what all the articles said.:francis:

They are marrying among themselves like always. But the critical question is why marriage is falling out of vogue primarily amongst the poor and less rich.

It's because most have stupidly fallen for the elite's plan to discredit the institution while reserving it and its benefits for themselves. Meanwhile we stupidly caping for broken families and legacies.

I try to spoon feed knowledge b/c I hate having to connect ALL the dots but people get distracted by deflections and agendas.

I know a bunch of people who are technically married but are no longer together. Like a lot.
Yep my mom is like that with her husband lol. I think the other reason is its less taboo to be single now especially females, so people aren't rushing to get married just because they are about to turn 30. As a result people are making better decisions about marriage.

didn't go over my head. I was never arguing any of that to being with.

You said marriage wasn't down among the wealthy. I said it was.

I was right :manny:
