Divorce rates in America have fallen every single year since 1979 but marriage rates are at a low

I've said this time and time again but bitter a$$holes can't pass up an opportunity to spit bullshyt about 80/20 rules and other justifications for why they hate women due to not being able to get their dikks wet.

People do NOT believe me when I tell them there are only 3-4 million blk single mothers in the U.S., and birth rates have actually dropped.

What is ironic is that for all the rhetoric against supposedly 5-kid having Sheniquas, the recent rise in the White out of wedlock birth rate (which for the under 30 crowd is now where we were in the mid 1970s; almost 10 years after the Moynihan Report) is actually driven by the increase in fertility of unmarried White women. This is the case since their marriage rate is higher and their married fertility is higher than Black married fertility. I'm not happy about this situation either but public rhetoric isn't aligned with reality. But hey, let's keep bashing the welfare moms pushing 3 double strollers.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight! Like i don't mind people who just go by what they hear, but I intensely dislike individuals who persist in believing the worst even with evidence to the contrary. Blacks have been fed a steady diet of lies about their own race and some seem almost possessive of these lies b/c they provide excuses to shyt on each other and ultimately dismiss one another, in this case black women.

Did yall ever have a big ceremony?

Her parents and my mom met yes and the father approved.
We only went to dinner with our parents and that's it.
We never had a big ceremony and both saw it as a waste which I was happy to hear so we can start our family, save, and build equity for the future.
