Shrinkage

So black hair comes in a bunch of different types but small springy coils are a crowning feature of our hair type.
When explaining blk hair to people I often liken it to a slinky. It coils upon itself very, very tightly. But when u stretch it out it can be amazingly long.
This can be confusing to some who think our hair doesn’t seem to grow. Meanwhile there can be inches and inches of hair tucked away in the tight coil of the strands.

Here’s some cool pics of blk shrinkage.

I’ve seen some people be adamant about blk hair length not realizing just how much length is hidden by shrinkage.

All natural hair stuff I use on my hair.

Apple cider vinegar and water rinse to wash it and remove dirt from the scalp

Honey, egg, olive oil deep treatment conditioner.

She makes her own aloe Vera conditioner using aloe, castor oil, peppermint oil, sulfur

Thanks sis. I've been wanting to try the apple cider vinegar on my hair (4a-4b) for a while. What brand of ACV you use or recommend?
