I don't really follow battle rap all like that, but Budden deserves credit for getting involved with this. As an artist who's been in the game as long as he has, and has advanced to television (reality tv, I know, I know), and is an elite writer (you cannot dispute that), for him to get involved with this is damn near taking a step backward. He deserves respect for doing this, for going back to his roots and giving the battle rap world some promo, or food for fodder depending on who you think will win. He's probably going to get slaughtered considering his notable L's, and any L's he brings up on Hollow Da Don will fall flat as I'd venture to say nobody knows anything about his failures. Regardless, real talk, this benefits Hollow, and the battle rap community more than it does Budden. They otta thank him. The whole thing reminds me of the old clip with Jay in some ratchety club when an alteraction took place and Jay said something about at that point in his career as an artist he shouldn't even be in clubs like that.
