He can like wack rappers, most people like wack rappers today, lol...my point was that if one of those wack rappers does something out of pocket he will comment on them doing something out of pocket and get at them for it. He did with 69 multiple times, who was seemingly his closest rap friend...he did it with Drake, he did it with Charlamagne who is his pops, etc... I don't watch his stuff enough to know every little detail but from the videos I've seen he's unbiased with the criticism...unlike literally ALL of his peers in rap media. I think people confuse being real with being tuff or hard or somethin, that's a mistake, dude is a geek and probably never even had a fight...but I don't care about that, I just appreciate that he doesn't care about burning a bridge and being invited to brunches and shyt.

Because realistically he can blow whoever he wants and it's still not gonna happen. Given what he can do alone, he can only get but so far, which is why some of y'all like him. He'll never be big enough to where you're worried about who's backing him because he'll never have that backing. His peers (I say that loosely; they're on a different tier than Akademiks) have all reached a point where bigger companies want to monetize what they do to a bigger forum with great success. Joe Budden of all people has a wildly successful podcast that has made him more successful than he ever was a rapper, and we've seen him do with backing and without it and we've seen which one has worked out better for him. It's hard for Ak to burn a bridge he isn't capable of getting near.

Ak is the social media version of those rappers who signed to KOCH and had you think everything was amazing over there because you got paid $8 a record only for every other successful mainstream rapper to be like "if shyt was that sweet, don't you think we'd be there?"

because we live in a world where so many people lie and are PC that we actually appreciate honest takes even if they're retarded. The President of the United States is in office for this very reason. So what you have are guys like Ak, like Tariq Nasheed, etc., who say outlandish shyt, double down on what they say and heads here live vicariously through what they say because their fukked up mind has representation. Specifically to this forum, Ak to them gives validity to the wild shyt they say here. We make threads about stuff in relative anonymity. He's monetizing that style and that gets a lot of love from people here.
