Literally everyone I know listens to rap and very, very few of them know any of these guys. I can tell you they have no idea who Ross, Wack, or Adam is, at all.

The couple that are known, it's in an extremely limited capacity. Ak is known as "the Drake stan". Nobody sees him as a voice in media. At least not in my circle.

And Rogan isn't a good example because he isn't limited to one topic. He's had everyone from astrophysicists to rappers to actors to politicians on his sh*t. So a hell of a lot more people are going to know him, just based on that.

They aren't irrelevant but saying they're "the biggest in hip-hop media" is a completely useless metric.

You mean to tell me if a meteorite hit that studio, and wiped out that whole room....you'd be unable to follow what's going on in rap?

What news did any of those guys break, in the last 12 months? What did any of them do, besides react to sh*t that was already going on and/or comment after the fact?

The biggest moment in hip-hop 2024-2025 was obviously Drake vs Kendrick and none of those guys had any insight into that whatsoever. The exception is Ak, solely because he's Drake's lap dog. He had no idea Kendrick was dropping an album, had no idea about the Super Bowl, etc.

Hell, Adam was in the same room as Bricc Baby and Luce Cannon didn't even break the news about the Big U situation.

I still lament about the end of Hihop journalism with written articles

However, these clowns are the biggest Hip-Hop media right now. If they ain"t, tell me who is? it's simple.

Rap gossip is bigger than rap itself these days and the gossip is usually around crimes.

Unfortunately, the “best” gossip is around murders.

And as a result, these guys are really the most prominent and consistent “stars” in the genre.

It’s disgusting but true.
