Rappers in general get love overseas especially in euro crakka land (UK, France, Germany and even parts of racist ass east europe like Crotia is starting to blow up)

In the UK a dude like Nas is doing the same arena venues as Drake, Jay and Nicki (O2 Arena) and new artists like Odd Future, Kendrick and J Cole gotta do multiple at the same venues cause of high demand. And then you got old school dudes like De La, Kane, KRS, PE coming regularly to the Jazz Cafe and Forum.

US got festivals that give them that respect like RTB but even stuff like the UK Wireless festival is making a challenge for most impressive Hip Hop lineups:yeshrug:Some places show love to all and not caught up in the competition

And meanwhile the music and fashion coming out of there is making an impact back in the US (Dubstep, Nothern soul etc, the whole hipster culture tbh)

If Woodface gets so much love overseas why has he performed at sxsw, that show yesterday in the USA, and summer jam (all usa) but hasn't done a single show overseas in 2014?

Why did BISD debut at number 5 in the USA but not even in the top 10 anywhere else? Why did 160k Americans buy it first week but only 46k people from the entire rest of the world?

And why did 50 struggle to get 5k people to shows in Australia, Belgium, and other European countries excluding the uk?

It's easy to perform for large crowds in Europe at festivals with multiple rock bands as co-headliners

Nah but thats the thing though, its precieved to be one of these old europe/eastern europe places that is racist but actually from what I've heard and seen lately the place loves black people and has more and more Hip Hop and R&B music festivals.

Apparently there's a big fest that happens in the summer too
