nikkas gotta stop dropping opinions after their first listen

"It grew on me" isn't a real thing lol

nikkas just don't so give shyt a chance and let it marinate

"It grew on me" is very much a real thing. The brain is wired to respond positively to repetition.

How The Music Industry Is Brainwashing You to Like Bad Pop Songs

Research suggests that repeated exposure is a much more surefire way of getting the general public to like a song than writing one that suits their taste. Based on an fMRI study in 2011, we now know that the emotional centers of the brain — including the reward centers — are more active when people hear songs they've been played before. In fact, those brain areas are more active even than when people hear unfamiliar songs that are far better fits with their musical taste.

Has nothing to do with this song in particular but the shyt is a multi-billion dollar business....you think they leave it up to chance? :mjlol:

Must be selective then coz I hear the same ol' garbage on the radio all the time and am yet to like most of it

It's not a perfect process, but it's success rate is well documented. There's a reason hundreds of pop songs over the years have the same chord progression. Repetition is like a cheat code for music.
