Dope event nonetheless. Wish i was there.
What's crazy is that all three of them are in their mid 40's but still churning shiit out better than 98 percent of todays producers.
Problem is that there's no budget out there sufficient enough to enlist them.
Its unfortunate... that's why music was better back then because there was a real drive to produce real music with the backing of the labels giving the artists real money.
Now that albums don't push as many units, the labels aren't as compelled to shell out the adequate loot to commission these super producers.
It's a shame... i'd love to hear some of these new/up N coming acts rip these beats but that's a pipe dream at this point.
Mannie said he ain't gonna do it any more (something to that extent, but who's gonna fork out 50-100 k for a beat in this climate?).
