because he is a top producer in a stale climate which doesn't have too many producers that could make hits right now, plus the same shyt gets played on the radio all the time.

compare that to lil jon who was on top when the Neptunes, just blaze, kanye, manny fresh, david banner, paul and juicy j, cool and dre, Scott storch, ect who was all huge producers at the time he had to compete with.

if mustard last another 2-3 years then you can compare him to lil jon, dude will be lucky to make it to next summer

Me too, I though the same thing when I first heard Loyal, expecting "Muzzar on da beat ho" at the beginning had me like when I didn't hear the drop.

Please find me the songs and that year. I remember neptunes running SHYT but never where pretty much every song I heard on the radio was theirs for a full year.

just check out their production credits/charts for around 2001-2004ish, maybe even a little before that...i remember hearing those figures everywhere around that time, it was a big deal...not only did they have more hits, but they had bigger hits...no competition...

not to mention, we already know Mustard gonna fall off in a year or so...Pharrell got his first hit in 92 and had a #1 hit this year...don't compare these dudes on any level...
