I'll wait for the official releaseYep and the leak is floating around
The best beats I'd Pete's projects have been from the vault but he also did joint dof common album brand new that were neck and neck. Like fortunate. It's the same with Pete.
Dude was on IG going through old SP discs, that had labels on them like "3/14/95" and sh*t and he was playing the craziest beats that we never heard! Sh*t that was better than a lot of his later work after '98. And the people in the comments were telling him to do something with them.
He said some of the beats he had on the last Common album, he already had in the stash for years and just dusted them off for Common. These dudes are literally sitting on some of the best sh*t never heard and just doing nothing with them. Dre's the same, lol.
Yeah, there's 2 beats I'm not loving a whole lot but they could grow on me for sureThis is dope as hell to me, love to hear Roc over these more traditional beats (love his usual left field stuff too, but variety is the spice of life, as they say)
Marcberg vibes![]()

Man, a lot of times they just enjoy being creative and it’s not as fulfilling for them to use older stuff when collaborating in the here and now. I understand wanting to hear a lot of that older stuff, but I also understand why most producers only like doing that in rare cases.Truth.
And I never had an issue with the legends just going back and dusting off joints from the vault. I always felt like some of their best sh*t is from that era. Why not use those today if they're still dope?

Everybody wants to feel relevant and energized by what they’re doing in the present time. Even non creative people feel that way. It’s a very human thing.
That makes sense for Pete I also think Preem doesn’t have as much unreleased beats. Of course he has some. But he’s said he rarely makes beats for fun or practice, and mostly only does it when he’s been commissioned to work. He’s not shooting jumpers all day like some other guys are.Nah, I totally get that.
I just think for the fans, you gotta give them your best sh*t. Regardless of when it was made. For the people, it's all new. Pete is a great example because he said a lot of that last Common album was his old beats that he played for Common years ago.
Thing is, Pete's still making new beats daily. So he said he's sitting on "albums and albums" and years of beats, so he has a lot of sh*t to choose from, for MC's.
