So I bought the Rosecrans EP on CD Only for them to turn around and flesh it out into an album with better mixes?
They won't stop until he is gone. N even then it's gone be some shyt between them his wife...cookie n the daughter mom...
album is sounding good as fukk .. best work quik put out since trauma imo
Trauma was his worst album though.![]()
i noticed those two tracks were different..i was kinda used to the Luda one but i like how Quik does that. thats what GOATs doquik a monster behind the boards..
spur of the moment ludas version vs quiks version...
quiks version...its a whole lot cleaner n its extras in the beat..
i would love to hear original dats of all eyez on me ...be4 quik mixed it..
all his albums are dope to me. if i had to pick one i dont really revisit all that often its Under Tha Influence.Trauma was his worst album though.![]()
2nd to that Fixxers shyt that thank god never saw the light of day.
That shyt was some trend-hopping garbage. His last stab at commercial "relevance". Glad Quk got it out his system.
You know, it's funny. Quik is the ONLY person in this industry that I can think of who can somewhat fall off, make one or two garbage albums, yet produce a masterpiece after. He doesn't need to change up his sound, and pander to any trendy style, because all of the shyt of this current era has no timeless value. Won't nobody be remembering half of todays shyt or these shyt artist 10 years from now.
I was definitely concerned around the Under the Influence (which wasn't terrible) / Trauma era. Felt like he lost his hunger, but he's definitely back on track.
