What the hell is up with Quik remaking video game theme music at the end of New Nite?
That song is dope tlll Quik starts playing Burgertime & a bunch of 80s video game themes on the damn keyboard.
that's one of the best moments on the album and was the best on the EP IMO.

a lot of rappers did what you are talking about in the 90s. I remember that I grew on 80s & 90s rap. E-40 did that on "This is the shyt that will fukk with your brain" song with the Super Mario jump sound.
Quik said on Quik is the name "Ill beat yo ass like we was playing Techno Bowl" and he put the "ready,down,hike hike hike hike" that's dope when rappers do that!
What Quik did on New Nite had nothing to do with the song at all. Just a bunch of "can you guess video game theme this is from?" keyboard sounds.

A New Nite is a dope ass song! It should have faded out at the 4 minute mark but he kept it going and called it "Rosecrans Groove". How would you feel if Dr Dre & Snoop made a "G Thang 2" song that was dope as fukk but Dre goes off the genius deep end and starts unnecessarily remaking Saga Genesis theme songs out of nowhere and playing around on the keyboard at the 4 minute mark for 5 MINUTES instead of just fading G Thang 2 like a regular dope song.

I would have preferred if he made Rosecrans Groove is own song instead of attaching it to A New Nite. But the instruments half I think is dope, at first I thought why is he using these sounds but I liked it after the second listen and it became my fav part of the whole EP, but there's better songs and beats on the full album.
That all I'm saying. I'm listening on Spotify so I can't edit it to separate it into two tracks. I might have like Risecrans Groove if it was a separate track but New Nite should have been on its own.
