The Compton rapper and producer released his seventh album on September 13th, 2005, via his own independent label Mad Science Records.
Prior to this, he released the Trauma Mixtape, a mixture of his hits and new songs, prior to releasing the album to feed the fans as his album was delayed while he was moving from Warner Bros. to Fontana Distribution.
The album debuted at number forty three on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, with 24,000 copies sold in its first-week.
