Crazy how this year I got into DJ Quik heavy, I'm mad at myself for not discovering him and his music sooner. Also these past few weeks I've been listening to his instrumentals (The Groove) and guess what... in this interview they play a few in the background.

Yeah man, Quik never got his due as far as the work he put in for the left coast. I swear I was one of the few cats down south bumping all his shyt, I stayed up on Quik albums though. Hopefully now that TPAB is out and selling well, the world will get to hear the left-handed genius D Blake. Respect to you too young homie.
