:what:

He is just playing records back to back. Where is the cutting and scratching?

2:00 mark

I didn't watch the whole thing of either video, but I thought he was scratching some in both videos

Regardless, he scratches on songs and his scratches are underrated :yeshrug:

Not to derail, but Juicy J and DJ Paul get crazy with the wheels too. Paul & Juicy J and DJ Quik are my top 2 favorites.

This is what I’m talking about! Juicy J got skills!

:banderas:

Can anybody post a DJ QUIK video of him flexing his skills that that?

All them songs of him scratching and cutting but not ONE video of him on YouTube actually doing it.

See, you would think somebody who loves to scratch on songs a lot would be QUIK to show his fans he could actually scratch in real life. He got two videos up of him playing with turntables and not one time he showed what he can do. A real Dj would be all over the turntables having fun cutting and scratching (See Juicy J & Premo) That shyt makes me curious about his “behind the scenes scratching skills.”.

One thing about Quik that doesn't get talked about enough is his work with the Talkbox. He's the heir to what Roger Troutman was doing.

Low key, this is one of my favorite Quik produced tracks that doesn't get any love. It's an improved-version of "Got a Nu Woman"

What if Deathrow never fell off and after Dre left Quik became the main producer???... I honestly think he could have surpassed Dre dude is straight nasty and a bit more versatile. Once I started really paying attention some of Dre's shyt looks real funny in the light

Probably a different topic for a different day, but an argument can be made about Quik's production aging better with time than Dre's. Safe & Sound and Rhythm-al-ism still sound fresh
