I love Latina women
Veteran
at a time (even still now for the most part) when most were more into singles and random songs much more than actual albums, quik like he always has, put out an album of singles and songs that were sequenced, mixed, mastered and engineered with a cohesive sound. the songs are well written and very well produced. then there's the guest list of artists; the legendary late-great garry shider of parliament funkadelic, jon. b, suga free, ice cube, dwele, kurupt, bizzy bone, bun b, and blakkazz k.k.
then there's the couple of samples that he used. quik is still one of the smartest and most original producers around. for the song "real women" he sampled angela bofill "children of the world united", for "hydromatic" has elements of "greased lightnin' by john travolta by way of the grease soundtrack and then "do today" samples one of my favorite prince written and produced songs, the family's (prince's group) "screams of passion"
