Uncle Red is the best!!

One of the greatest people you'd ever meet in Hip Hop, and one of our most respected legends. This episode was dope as hell. Loved the stories and how Red's history was so rich with helping other greats. Combat won with this episode.

This was a great ep.

Don't know about following it up with Jamilah Lemieux tho.

This was another"you had to be there" ep...like Diamond D because Red Alert was a local thing at first. Even myself.....I remember Red Alert back in 89 on Kiss FM but I wasnt really into Hip Hop like that at that time so that was before my era. By the early 90's dude was like this hip hop legend in the same sense as Mr Magic or Marly Marl(tho Marly was bigger then all 3 at the time.)

This EP was more a bio for those who dodnt know Red...and it makes sense...But I would have loved to hear some more detailed stories, I could do a part 2 if Red is willing to tell some detailed stories.

Red Alert was the man when I was a kid. He was as big as any rapper to me. I used to stay up with a blank tape ready to record his show. Always remembered seeing him on Video Music Box.
