DJ Spinna was on fire from 1996-2000.

Still one of my favorite producers, even though he mainly does house music now.

im gonna be 100 percent honest with you, on the low, ive been doing the exact same thing under a different name. house music....women show up, they actually dance, the atmosphere is fun etc.

but that sex god by little brother and brand new heavies remix he did, along with the shyt he did on the blue note remix album was just incredible. for me he can do no wrong.

I feel the same way. I gave up DJing hip-hop strictly like back around 2010....I'm more into playing deep house and tech house. I still do it under my main name. I've always produced house records under my own name....if I do play hip-hop it's boom bap instrumentals like Spinna's with some downtempo 90s stuff and funk and soul records. That's what I like about DJ Spinna. people forget house and hip-hop pretty much were birthed in the same circles.
