DLC worth it?

I'm about to get a few older games and I'm on the fence about the dlc. I bought Shadow of Mordor with the DLC and Lord of the hunt was . I didn't even finish. Everything else was costumes. IDGAF about costumes if they don't do anything.

My question is was the DLC for AC: Syndicate Gold Edition, Persona 5 Ultimate Bundle, Horizon: Zero Dawn Digital Deluxe + Frozen Wilds, and Mafia III Deluxe Edition worth it or should I get the standard editions and call it good? What was good and what should i skip?

Can't speak on Horizon and Mafia DLC.

Persona 5 DLC are higher level Personas but you can't use them properly at the start because they drain more SP than you can afford to use. The rest are costumes and I think it changes the battle soundtrack when all 4 party members are wearing it(@Fatboi1 ?)

You shouldn't even be getting AC games

The only DLC that's the worth anything right now, is Witcher 3...everything else is just

Honestly, I cant think of a DLC that i felt was worth buying after the initial purchase

I bought plenty of them through the years but the overall worth felt average at best.

Persona 5's DLC isn't necessary. I bought a couple of DLC though(the P4/SMT IV costume set) which includes background music when equipped. The DLC persona's are only good for hard mode/merciless grinding. Just play on hard mode for a decent challenge and maybe cop a costume or two if you want it.

DLC is fine IMO if it gives you more enjoyment out of the game.

Even if it is just cosmetic changes I think it is worth it

If you’re into the genre I highly recommend it...or just get the complete editions with all the dlc’s built in

"The Witcher 3" is a GOAT level game you got to let the combat and controls marinate for a minute. It takes some getting used to. After that though it's amazing. Probably the best open world in a game ever and easily the best writing in a game, ever.
