DLSS5...aka Ai slop?

I'm constantly surprised by the things I read on here daily

I used to be heavy into sli and the best gpu performance possible. I tested that shyt like crazy in the past. With the 4090 and now the 5090, I test a lot less because the performance on them with DLSS is just so amazing. I'm a graphics whore though. I always strive for the best graphics, at the highest resolutions. I only want the best. I pay a pretty penny for it too

Thanks man. I'm still doing bad. My health is getting worse, but I'm still living. I don't know how many years I have left, so I've been living life to the fullest. It's a little scary, but I keep going on. My lungs are a problem. My heart is good though

I aint gon hold you this doesn't make it any less impressive. They're taking a single frame 2D screenshot, scanning that for what the processor is guessing is a face, mapping that to a 3D environment and outputting a photoreal character model in real time at playable framerates that's 99% accurate in some cases in its beta build stage and I gotta boil that down to "lol its just a filter"?

Beta build of version 1 and we're already in the Digital Foundry 30x zoom flip back and forth or you'll miss it pixel peeper imperfections stage? nikka this shyt is amazing.

2D frame and motion vectors is also how DLSS, and other upscalers, work. I guess PSSR is just an "AI filter"
