Nikka Virginia Beach part ain't of the metro area.
It's DC, PG, and Montgomery counties from MD, and Northern Virginia. And in all reality Northern Virginia is only included because so many folks who work in DC live there, but folks from MD and DC rarely ever actually go to VA other than when we going to the airport.

At my old job in DC all the black people basically lived in PG all the white people lived in NOVA.
Crazy some white people in Nova, work in DC ever day but don't know shyt about maryland. Yet we know everything about crystal city, Tysons corner etc. Gahhdamn
Shopping and work
Basically DC was the first city that really went through gentrification, our shiit started early.
On a cultural aspect city ain't been the same for going on 2 decades. And the gentrfiers weren't just White either it's was Blacks too.
Mayor Williams regime did everything they could to rid DC off its local culture.
I really wish folks coming here now, would've experience DC pre 04/05 era.
