and none of those cities are in the CoATL:russ:

Most of Ben Hill is in COA. And College Park and East Point ain't in COA, but they close enough in to where they not considered suburbs. Far as southside goes, CP and EP considered inner city but somewhere like Riverdale or Morrow would be the burbs, but it's still all southside tho. shyt confusing to be honest breh. If you want to get technical the westside is really the only side of ATL that is truly all inside the city limits. Most of the eastside once you east of Moreland is in Dekalb County and most of the southside is in Fulton County or Clayton County. I'm from the west and I'm old enough to remember when ClayCo was mostly white trash and Decatur and Stone Mountain nikkas would be like "fukk Atlanta". shyt changed fast tho and now it's pretty much like anything inside 285 is considered inner city regardless of what the actual city is.

Yea right off Campbellton road exit...and nikka saying it aint COA. When the address straight says Atlanta, GA 30331. When I stay wit my aunt in College Park tho according to google maps its Atlanta, GA 30349...sometimes websites change the address from College Park to Atlanta and vice versa. Shyt is real confusing.

@ The other bolded thats funny. I meet people that say they from East Atlanta so I assume zone 6. Then they say they're from Stone Mountain, Decatur, Lithonia, etc. Im like :dwillhuh:

You from east OF Atlanta, but east Atlanta? :francis: Funny that they use to not fw Atlanta

Most of the city limits are. But that shyt itself is small breh. Probably a little under 500,000. CP and EP also in Fulton but they not in COA. The eastside outside of East Atlanta is mostly in Dekalb. Then you got bout 4-5 other counties in the metro too. shyt confusing AF breh. That's why I always call this shyt a region. Its that down south mentality. These Cacs don't like big govt and they like to carve out they little piece of the pie so you got a whole bunch of counties, towns and cities. And now that the area has grown and changed its just a clusterfukk.

First off you might as well consider D.C. a city in Maryland. Baltimore, Delaware and most of Virginia aren't really that connected to D.C. When it comes down to it.

The reason DMV is thrown around is simple and obvious. The very definition of a metro area where a certain radius surrounding an economic hub (DC) bring commuters in to work. Therefore, you have large amounts of people from Baltimore, Delaware and Virginia coming to D.C. To work. Same can be said for NYC which brings people in from Jersey, philly Connecticut, etc.

No one includes Philly in the NYC metro area

When it comes to the eastside I just ask folks what HS they went to. That's usually gets em, you can't really flex on that. If you say you from Zone 6 but you went to some shyt like Towers HS then im like nah breh. And some cats in Dec didn't fukk with the A back in the day. Usually the older nikkas, I was super young so these cats probably in they 40s/50s now. Ghetto Mafia came to the old Silver Fox on Hollywood back in the day and got on stage like fukk y'all Atlanta nikkas. Then by the time I was off the porch it was eastside. I was always like just claim Dekalb County. It can stand on its own. It's been bigger than Atlanta for a while now and when it comes to street shyt it's had more murders than the city for a minute too. For this thread PG and Dekalb share some similarities but PG stands on its own more from DC than Dekalb does from Atlanta.
