cam using dmx's hook on whats really good brought that track together..their song together on Grand Champ was meh though in my opinion. Cam outshined DMX on that pretty thoroughly and i didnt like grand champ much in general.
i was wondering if there was some back and forth inspiration between "Death" and "Damien" on both their first albums pre-release. they were released 2 months apart from each other IDAHIH in may '98 and COF in july '98 and idahih was recorded 96-98 and COF 97-98. that performance was in 98 too. could just be coincidence though

Oh I know the reason, sample clearance has ruined so many album releases for me. Going to the record store on Tuesday only to see that the track you been waiting to have in full, cdq with no dj is not on the album. What you know about listening to the last track hoping the song you been waiting for was a hidden bonus track at the end but ain't nothing there.
They did this the same night they shot Get At Me Dog, just so ya know. This was in February of '98, all-Star afterparty.
