This is conflicting because I want to like the album.

There's too much Swizz on this album.... I wish X coulda worked with Dame Grease or PK a little more when he was alive. I hate the recycled songs of sorts.... even the Moneybagg Yo song is kinda like that.... the Bono joint is nice, but feels forced.....

hell the verses on Bath Salts are fine, but it just feels recycled. I hate seeing old verses being copied and pasted together. And honestly, Bath Salts sounded a whole lot better live than it does on the album. Just bothers me....

Griselda song was nice, but it fit any of their albums more than X's.

Like I wish there was more X and less everyone else. I'll take the AKeys joint, skits, Snoop joint, Usher joint, Walking in the Rain, and that's about it.
Bath Salts was pretty much gutted like 3 times. The song was originally Nas’ song with 3 verses and hooks and all that. Then it turned into the song u heard when Swizz played it. It sounded more lit then because it still had the hook and the “Escobar season returns” etc etc on it. Then Swizz gutted it even more and took the hooks off of it because thinking about it Jay’s verse don’t really fit the theme of that hook. Nas decided to write a different verse and here’s the song. X’s and Jay’s verses are the only ones that remain from the older version of the song.

The pop smoke project changed the game. Vocals clear, production on point and perfectly mixed. No reason in this era to have poorly mixed songs anymore
Majority of PAC’s posthumous shyt would like to have a word with u. Aside from that Eminem produced shyt everything up to Better Dayz was pretty much quality.

This shyt right here?!!! :wow:

This

Skyscrapers

And Walking in the Rain

Are the best tracks on here, and X should have been on that mood of production for the entire album.

Nas killed both of his verses. Probably should have had him featured more as X did well with him chemistry wise.

They really dropped the ball with this unfortunately.

Views From The X
I speaking of the specific song. Not the albums. Do For Love is an all time Hip Hop song and it’s posthumous.
Nah that was my fault because I meant to put Do For Love but had a brain fart and put R U Still Down instead.

I was referring to the song Until The End Of Time. That's my favorite posthumous song from Pac. I listen to that more than any other. But Do For Love is a classic too

I love some DMX music but you can clearly hear he’s not enjoying being in the booth or people like Gotti is not there to push him to get the best out of him. He literally sounds like a old dog on most of these songs. His punchlines are some the basic ABC 1-2-3 shyt I ever heard from X. Let’s keep it real. R.I.P to the legend DMX but if he was alive yall would be shredding this album apart.
