You need a biblical brother.
Pop smoke change the convo on posthumous albumsok album. posthumous albums seems to never be good outside of 2pac and biggie who both fully completed their albums before their deaths.
where my dogs at
bath salts (still fire regardless of the drop by swizz in the battle)
dogs out (although x verse sounds horribly mixed down)
take control
hood blues
walking in the rain (another poorly mixed x verse)
were stand outs for me. was a ok project was expecting a bit more for a x project more energy some room rockers etc. playing this album at a party people might fall asleep though.
@The Dust King Why did you neg me ?HOV IS FLOATING ON THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry I had to run this back like 3 times
Sounds like some Watch The Throne shyt !!!!!!
Muthafukka quote me when u talking bout me. Only doofus is you p*ssy. His name is also on Echo but he didn't produce that. U stupid muthafukka. Im literally shytting on Swizz in the fukking Verzuz thread. That don't mean I can't call out the goofy shyt. The doofus you responded to continues to die on the hill of “Swizz not producing the songs you think”, despite him being the executive producer, despite his name being listed on every single track, and despite Swizz’s signature sound being on every single track but 3. He is clearly either Alicia Keys or Mashonda burner accounts.
nikka did u forget about Pac? Pac got classic songs on posthumous albums. Pop Smoke didn't change the conversation. He's just one of the few people that shyt was done correctly.Pop smoke change the convo on posthumous albums
if it's true that Swizz cut out both Dame and PK from the project to "look out for X" well then the irony is that Swizz gave X some recycled a$$ songs and mixed this sh*t horribly whether intentional or not. I'm curious to hear the songs Grease and PK produced for X and how organic they sound as opposed to some of these put together from swizz. I'm aware that X confirmed these collabs, but even then, wasn't really aware where swizz was getting these verses from.
I think he's saying the songs they did for the album, not just the ones that made the final cut, because they recorded over 50 songs. These are the songs they all agreed on, but there's a lot of songs out there that were made in the process of this album.I think these songs were all done before X passed away.
