The Great Depression is way better than Grand Champ. Grand Champ was too bloated and then they gave away what would've been two of the best tracks to the Cradle 2 The Grave soundtrack.
No. Great Depression is not better than Grand Champ. Grand Champ was more consistent. shyt was damn near banger after banger. Plus the worst songs on Great Depression are worse than the worst songs on Grand Champ.

Nah I agree, Grand champ was better to me, but that’s because it had a higher number of tracks that were good, but I do agree with you it was overly bloated too, imagine if he trimmed the fat and dropped a couple skits..

1. Dog Intro
2. My Life Ft. Chinky
3. Where Da Hood At
4. Dogs Out
5. Get It On The Floor Ft. Swizz Beatz
6. Come Prepared Skit
7. Shot Down Ft. Styles P & 50 Cent
8. Untouchable Ft. Ruff Ryders
9. fukk Ya’ll
10. Ruff Radio Skit
11. We’re Back Ft. Eve & Jadakiss
12. X Gon Give It To Ya
13. We Go Hard Ft. Cam’ron
14. The Rain
15. Gotta Go Skit
16. Don’t Gotta Go Home Ft. Monica
17. Ayo Kato
18. Thank You Ft. Patti Labelle
19. The Payer V

Like that it’s his 3rd best album imo

Agreed. That dog intro a top 5 intro of all time too...

So Swizz produced this whole thing? Like everything? :skip:Because I had to pause that Moneybagg song after hearing the first few keys.

I don't know if I can get through this honestly.
Swizz is the executive producer and his name is on every single track, and his signature cheap bells and whistles sound is on every track but 3. Swizz clearly has some relatives in this thread that are trying to get the heat off of him but it isn’t working.

fukk y’all hating ass bytches. This shyt is dope. This is fukking DMX back on point. Sure he ain’t spitting quite as tight as he did 20 years ago but he still did his thing. There is a couple of skippable joints, but every DMX album after his first 2 has a couple of skippable joints.

only track I’m not rocking with is the Griselda joint because his voice just sounds too off on that. The rest of this though I’m definitely rocking with. Will probably narrow it down a little once I’ve given it some more spins but for now, I’m loving this.

Just cause someone executive produced something don’t mean they made the damn beats. Swizz put the shyt together. He didn’t necessarily make all the beats.
